feeling stuck or uncertain about life direction
At times in life, it can feel as though you have lost your sense of direction. You may find yourself questioning where you are going, what matters most to you, or how to move forward.
These periods of uncertainty are more common than many people realise. They often arise during times of transition, change, or when life no longer feels aligned with your values or goals.
You might recognise this feeling as:
• feeling stuck or unable to move forward
• uncertainty about life direction or purpose
• dissatisfaction with work, relationships, or daily life
• feeling disconnected from yourself or others
• questioning what you want from the future
• a sense that something in life needs to change, but not knowing where to begin
These experiences can be unsettling, but they can also be an opportunity for reflection and growth.
At A Question of Life Counselling, I provide a supportive space where you can pause and explore the questions that may be emerging in your life. Counselling offers an opportunity to step back from the pressures of daily life and reflect on what is important to you.
My approach is grounded in Person-Centred Therapy and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, creating a calm and non-judgemental environment where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences.
My work is also guided by the PAUSE framework, which supports clients to slow down, gain clarity about what may be keeping them feeling stuck, and begin identifying meaningful steps forward.
Feeling stuck does not mean you are failing or lost. Often it is a sign that something in life is asking for attention, reflection, or change.
Counselling can provide a space to explore these questions and begin reconnecting with your sense of direction and possibility.
